Observance Of Juneteenth

Juneteenth, observed today as a US Federal holiday, commemorates the end of slavery in the nation and celebrates African American culture. Comedian Steve Harvey told Michael in 2001, “You’ve done a lot for Black people.” Michael responded, “I’m proud of my heritage. I’m proud to be Black.”
