Michael Jackson Allows Students to Experience His Bad Tour Rehearsals in Florida

On this date in 1988, Michael Jackson set up his Bad World Tour at the Pensacola, Florida Civic Center for 26 days of rehearsals, up to three times a day, in front of the center’s 10,000 empty seats. While the rigorous run-throughs were closed to the public, Michael granted local elementary school students the opportunity to see him practice after they reached out to with a heartfelt request.
