A kritikusok világszerte rengeteget beszélnek a “BAD25”-ről azóta, hogy szeptember 17-én a boltok polcaira került. Az Entertainment Weekly magazin “A” minősítést adott a legendás “BAD” 25. évfordulója alkalmából megjelent kiadványra, de nemcsak ők, hanem a világ minden pontjának különböző médiafelületei is imádják az új albumot.
A DVD-ről pedig – amely az 1988-ban készült Wembley stadionban adott koncert felvételét tartalmazza – szintén igazán elismerően nyilatkoznak. A Huffington Post a Beatles Shea Stadiumban adott 1965-ös legendás koncertjéhez hasonlította a felvételt azzal a kitétellel, hogy “Tévedés ne essék: Michael itteni előadása még a legtehetségesebb elődeiét is felülmúlja!”
