Michael’s Off The Wall album was released during the hiatus between the 2nd and 3rd legs of The Jacksons’ Destiny Tour. When the tour restarted in New Orleans on this date in 1979, Michael performed “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” live for the first time.
