MJ Presented Lifetime Achievement Award To His Idol James Brown

Michael Jackson was brought to tears when presenting a lifetime achievement award to one of his idols, The Godfather of Soul, James Brown at the 2003 BET Awards. Michael said: “From the bottom of my heart, since I was a child, since I was six years old, he was the one I looked up to more than any entertainer.” Michael also made a short performance with Brown at the awards.
